The Chamber of Commerce and the City of Poplarville will have a recognition of the cheer teams from Poplarville High School and Pearl River Community College at 5 pm on Thursday, February 23 on the Town Green. Both teams placed FIRST in National Championships! Now let's just pray it doesn't rain.

2023 Poplarville Area Chamber of Commerce Community Events Calendar
February 3, 2023 from 4:00 – 9:00 and February 4, 2023 from 9:00 – 9:00 Mississippi Show Choir Competition at the Brownstone at Pearl River Community College. This is not a Chamber event but we will participate by having a table in the lobby to direct attendees to businesses in town that they can visit during breaks. We are asking businesses to open for a while during these times.
April 8, 2023 – Easter Egg Hunt on the Town Green. This will include the Easter Egg Hunt, games and the Easter Bunny will be there. The time will be announced at a later date.
May 6, 2023 Trash to Treasure Garage Sale on Main Street from 10:00 – 3:00. Vendors will set up booths to sell all types of things, from yard sale items, food and bakery, items to new merchandise. Details will follow on how to register for a booth.
June 10, 2023 – The Blueberry Jubilee in downtown Poplarville There will be some special events and entertainment on Friday evening and the Jubilee will run all day Saturday. There will be craft vendors of all types, food vendors, a 5K run, a Fun Run, and lots of entertainment on two stages.
October 7, 2023 – Fall Fest & Pumpkin Patch on the Town Green. There will be Pumpkins for sale and a place for kids to paint them. There will be many games and prizes, also. It will be in the afternoon and the exact time will be announced.
October 21 or 28, 2023 – The Witches Ride begins at 4:00 pm. Decorated Golf Carts and Bicycles will parade down Main Street with participants in their Witches or Warlocks Costumes. Prizes are given in several categories.
October 31, 2023 - Merchants Trick or Treat. From 3:30 – 5:00 kids can Trick or Treat at stores on or near Main Street and in the Town Green. Town Trick or Treating will continue after.
December 2, 2023 –Annual Christmas Parade proceeds down Larkin Smith Dr. and down Main Street beginning at 5:00 pm. We will begin participant registration in November.
December 16, 2023 – Christmas on Main & Christmas Market. Stores all over town will be having sales for Christmas and there will be Vendors on the Town Green selling unique merchandise and canned or baked items. Information on setting up a booth will be available closer to the event.
First Friday from March through June is an opportunity for the community to gather in town and on the Town Green for fellowship, entertainment and visiting businesses.
